"Hay" significa “There is” o ‘There are” en inglés.

Hay un buen taller de autos en esta ciudad.

¿Hay un buen taller de autos en esta ciudad?

 (Is there is a good car shop in this city?).

¿Cuántas llantas hay?

 (How many tires are there?)

Hay cuatro llantas.

(There are four tires)

 ¿Hay baterías usadas?

(Are there used batteries?)

Sí, si hay baterías usadas.

(Yes, there are used batteries)

No, no hay baterías usadas.

(No, there are no used batteries)
