American Sign Language (ASL)
Sign a Phrase of Praise a Day
Children grow in the warmth and assurance of praise. As educators, moms/dads, tutors, mentors and friends, we can give nuggets of encouragement that will boost confidence and inspire others to reach for their goals. Some of these 31 common praise phrases are especially  fun as they are visual reinforcers to the hearing and the hearing impaired alike - for instance, "two thumbs up" is good news for anyone! News and Notes:

If you have made a purchase from our Shop@LT and you have not received your file(s) within 24 hours, LET US KNOW!

There has been a tremendous surge of email servers (ISPs) blocking our delivery email addresses. We can work around this tightened security if we know that there is a problem.
This problem seems to be with OUR outgoing mail, meaning all sent emails, with or without the files attached, are not received at their destination. Write to me anytime for an order update. If at all possible, please include an alternate email address. With your help, we will find a way to get your files to you. Without it, we cannot reach you!

Thank you for putting all of this on line.  I am fluent in a mixture of both ESL and ASL, but when I was asked to teach a sign language class to elementary kids, I didn't know where to start. This lesson plan made it easy.  You did all of the hard work for me! J Richey

My name is Patrick B. (deaf) and I am a teacher. I definitely will refer other teachers to use these signed Christmas Songs as they are wonderful and easy to use!”

From one of our customers:

I have been losing my hearing since childhood, I recently had a procedure which was suppose to help my hearing but only made it worse. I always knew one day i would have to depend on ASL to communicate with family and friends but always put it off. I thank god for your web site. My family is already planning on ordering books so they can learn sign language and I use your lessons with my 4 yr old son who has a blast learning something new every day. I am not sure what I will do when we get to that last lesson and he still wants to go online to learn more. But we have fun and as upsetting as this is to me, it gives me something to do with my son that we can bond with. Thank you so much. I look forward to being able to order books and lessons for my son and friends and family. Some have expressed they wouldnt be too hurt to get some of what ya'll offer for Christmas HAHA. I look forward to giving myself the gift of communication for Christmas. AGAIN you just dont know how much it means to be able to learn some of this without having to pay an arm and a leg and I can do it at home. I think some people forget that not every one can afford expensive books and lessons I was begining to feel shut out until we found your web site with free lessons and now we are excited that we have a begining. It doesn't feel like the end of my social life any more.
